Reports of the demise of vehicle donation programs has been grossly overstated. After the tax law changes of 2005 the general prediction was that the vehicle donation volume would dry up to a trickle. While some programs have reported loss in volume of up to 40%, the charities with stronger brands and dedicated, results oriented marketing continue to grow in volume, revenue and net return per vehicle.
